Aqeedah

Aqeedah in Islam
But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.
Quran 4:65

Course Requirements:
1:Belief in Allah (Tawhid)
Monotheism: Muslims believe in the oneness of Allah. This means that Allah is unique, without partners, and has no equals. He is the only creator, maintainer, and sovereign of the universe.
Attributes of Allah: Allah has specific attributes like mercy, knowledge, power, and wisdom, but He is beyond human comprehension. His attributes are not similar to anything in creation.
2: Belief in the Hereafter (Akhirah)
Day of Judgment: Muslims believe that there will be a Day of Judgment when everyone will be resurrected and held accountable for their actions. Good and righteous deeds will be rewarded with Paradise (Jannah), while those who do evil will face punishment.
Paradise and Hell: Jannah (Paradise) is described as a place of eternal bliss and reward for the righteous. Jahannam (Hell) is a place of punishment for those who disbelieve or commit grave sins.
3:Belief in Prophets (Nubuwwah)
Prophethood: Muslims believe that Allah sent prophets throughout history to guide humanity. These prophets include figures like Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (peace be upon them all).
Final Prophet: Muhammad (pbuh) is considered the last and final prophet. His teachings, found in the Quran and Hadith (sayings of the Prophet), are believed to be the final and complete guidance for mankind.
4: Belief in Holy Books (Kutub)
Revealed Scriptures: Muslims believe that Allah revealed several holy books to different prophets. These include:
The (Torah) given to Prophet Moses.
The Psalms (Zabur) given to Prophet Daud.
The Gospel(Injil) given to Prophet Essa.
The Quran given to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), which is considered the final and complete revelation.
Preservation: The Quran is believed to be the only scripture preserved in its original form without alteration.
5:Belief in Angels (Mala’ika)
Creation: Angels are understood to be entities formed from light, tasked with acting as messengers and agents of Allah. They have specific roles, such as conveying divine messages, recording deeds, and managing various aspects of creation.
Key Angels: Some key angels include Gabriel (Jibril), who brought revelations to the prophets, and Michael (Mikail), who provides sustenance.
6:Belief in Divine Decree (Qadar)
Predestination: Muslims believe in the concept of divine decree, which means that everything happens according to Allah’s will and knowledge. This encompasses both positive and negative occurrences.
Human Free Will: While Allah’s knowledge and will encompass everything, humans are given free will to make choices within this framework.
7:Faith (Iman) and Actions
Iman (Faith) True faith in Islam is not just about belief but also includes actions that align with those beliefs. It involves sincerity in worship, trust in Allah, and living according to Islamic principles.
Emaan (Belief) Emaan refers to the internal conviction and adherence to these beliefs. It’s reflected in one’s behavior, worship, and interactions with others.
Understanding and adhering to these principles help Muslims live a life aligned with their faith and prepare for the hereafter. If you have any more detailed questions about these topics or anything else, don’t hesitate to ask.
